Gulf State Email Complaints:
My policy is to show some complaints I have received, but to keep all identifying information anonymous. I want to show how this agency conducts itself.
False claim of Debt
I too have had a nasty little run in with these
people. They have helped destroy my credit by assuming
a debt that the credit reporting agency verified that
was not mine. They diligently destroyed and reported
day after day, then just yesterday 01-17-02, I get a
form apology letter from them after two years of
continuous fraudulent reporting.
Just thought you would like to know.

Nondisclosure of Contact Information
Hello! Thank you for your web page. I have a debt that was given
to Gulf
State that I cannot currently pay. I told them this and asked for their
mailing address so I could send them a cease and desist letter. The
collector would only tell me that they were in St. Louis and flatly refused
to give a street address or fax number, then hung up!

Debt Past Statute of Limitations
I came across your web page in my search for an address for Gulf State. The incident that you describe has happened to ME! They put a debt on my credit report where the statues of limitations had expired, on top of that.. I have my receipt for when I paid for it...just so happens I hung on to it. I hate them...they are rude and they are liars! They would not sign for my registered letter where I sent them a copy of the receipt and threatened to sue them if they did not cease contacting me. Instead they ditched and dodged. tell me where to sign!

Calling at Place of Work and Threats of Using Law Enforcement
Hello
I am sick of them, this lady from there have been calling my job threatening me,
discussing it with my Co -worker
that I owe them money and she was going to garnish my check. my Store manager
ask her not to call but she continues. She told me that she was going to send
the sheriff to my house. What can I do about?
